February's Challenge #76: Anything Goes (no stamps)TWIST use anything newly acquired

Well, welcome back folks to a new year of challenges with the 'Belles at Unstampabelles!

Welcome to the new followers too and we hope you find this a happy place.

Firstly, a photo from sunny Tasmania to make you want to travel!

Wow, what a view this old building has 👀. You'll spot plenty of these pleasingly dilapidated old farmhouses around Hobart and Beyond, but not all of them are situated in such an impressive location. This one was spotted near Tinderbox which is an easy 45 minute drive from Hobart and is well known for its Marine Nature Reserve featuring great swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving.

This area is known as The Channel and when my husband and I still had our small sailing boat we would go "down the Channel" for three weeks most summers. I know this building too - it was on the farm of one of my school friends and I spent a weekend or two at that farm. Unfortunately, the farm house was burnt down in the 1967 bushfires but the old shed didn't burn and is still there!

On with the challenge!

  1. Such wonderful place! I wish I was here, swimming in that sea and walking in the grass. I think there is a lot of silence. :)
It's an easy challenge to begin the year :) Hope to find time to play.

  2. My brother is living in Tasmania and I miss him often at this side of the world.
Well, you are showing so nice projects, this is inviting!!

  3. Ack! I entered a second card at #18 and my internet had a major hiccup during the link-up process and it loaded before I could crop the pic or change the link name! Sorry. Blame rural internet.

  4. Lovely to see you back! Wishing you a belated very Happy New Year too. Many thanks for the challenge and gorgeous inspirations x

  5. Gorgeous inspiration!! If my entry (#44) is not eligible please delete. I bought the dies last year, but have not used them until now.

P.S. LOVE Tassie, my brother lives in Launceston, and I hope to visit him later this year.

  6. Yes, the challenge was inviting so here is my card and the trees in the background are new ones which I became as a present.
